LIFE TEEN is the High School Ministry at Our Lady of Good Counsel.
LIFE TEEN is open to all high school students (grades 9-12). The main program are "LIFE Nights" on Sundays from 6-8pm following the 5pm Mass. LIFE Nights always include dinner, a chance to meet new friends, a variety of activities, and an encounter with Jesus! LIFE Nights require no pre-registration and participants only need to be high school students-- participants do not need to be members of OLGC or another Catholic Church even. Other EventsFeb 5: Rise Detroit 2023- The Archdiocesan Youth Rally is a day-long retreat for high school students from parishes within Metro Detroit. Featured speakers include Bishop Battersby and Katie Prejean-McGrady!
Feb 26: Parish Mission- Parents and siblings are invited to join us on February 26th for Day 1 of the Parish Mission! Learn more at www.olgcparish.net. Mar 12: Rotating Shelter- OLGC will be hosting residents from the rotating shelter beginning on March 12th. During this Life Night (6-8pm) the teens will host activities for the guests to participate in. Service hours will be awarded to those teens who need them! April 28-30: Spring Retreat- The Spring Retreat will take place at the DeSales Center this weekend! More details to come! May 28- Life Night in DTP- To celebrate Memorial Day we will eat dinner at the Parish House, walk to the Plymouth Veterans Memorial for a Prayer Service, stop at Dairy King for dessert, and then hang out in Kellogg Park for the evening!
